Standard Bank Careers – Manager Acquisition Enterprise

Standard Bank is looking for a driven and client-focused Manager, Acquisition Enterprise to join its team, focusing on the acquisition of new SMME and Enterprise clients with an annual turnover of R2 million to R10 million. This role plays a key part in growing the Enterprise Banking segment by driving new-to-bank business and offering tailored financial solutions across transactional, lending, investment, and digital banking products.

You will act as a sales representative in the intermediary space, ensuring seamless onboarding and fulfilment of client needs. Your role will directly support provincial teams in achieving acquisition and growth targets, while aligning with the broader Client Coverage strategy in Personal and Private Banking.

Minimum Qualification

  • Degree in Business Commerce or related field

Experience Requirements

  • 5–7 years in sales and relationship management within personal and/or business banking

  • Demonstrated success in new client acquisition and delivering on financial growth targets

  • Experience preparing and motivating credit applications is essential

  • Strong understanding of banking products and services relevant to SMMEs and enterprise clients

  • Background in managing affluent or high-value clients is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive acquisition of new Enterprise Banking clients, focusing on SMMEs

  • Present and sell a full suite of products including transactional accounts, online banking, merchant services, lending, and savings

  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions

  • Identify growth opportunities and ensure smooth onboarding processes

  • Support credit applications with robust financial motivation and analysis

  • Contribute to the growth of client base and overall profitability in line with provincial and national objectives
