G4S Vacancies – National Control Centre Manager

Overview:
G4S is seeking an experienced and results-driven National Control Centre Manager to lead and oversee the operations, performance, and strategic direction of our National Control Centre (NCC). This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, financial efficiency, and high customer satisfaction across our control centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management of the National Control Centre:

  • Ensure profitability of the NCC by driving cost-effectiveness and sustainable practices

  • Monitor and manage operational costs, including telecoms, fuel, and labour

  • Implement cost-control measures where necessary

  • Oversee accurate invoicing and manage cash flow for the NCC

Operational Management and Staff Oversight:

  • Manage the NCC’s organisational structure to optimise resource allocation

  • Provide leadership as the direct line manager to all NCC staff

  • Motivate, coach, and support team performance

  • Oversee and report on monthly performance metrics and key trends

  • Coordinate and implement all training requirements for NCC personnel

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure all NCC processes and procedures are followed and continually improved

  • Develop and maintain an operational Quality Assurance Plan and NCC Operations Manual

  • Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure optimal service delivery

  • Conduct quarterly reviews of procedures and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with G4S Cash, Guarding, and other business units

  • Foster strong external relationships with key clients to enhance service satisfaction and trust

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of safety plans

  • Attend and contribute to safety forums and meetings

  • Report safety incidents and follow up on corrective actions

  • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety protocols and policies

  • Distribute safety-related information and wear protective gear as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Relevant technical qualification is essential

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the security electronics industry (CCTV, access control, etc.)

  • Strong operational and staff management experience

  • Sound business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
