Dis-Chem Pharmacies (CJ Sales) is looking for a dedicated National Sales Manager to lead and grow the sales efforts for Private Label products. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by researching, compiling, and presenting service/sales proposals to both new and existing clients. As the National Sales Manager, you will use your sales expertise and creativity to develop innovative strategies that increase sales and expand business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:

Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
-
5 years of management experience in Sales, Marketing, Brand, Category, or Promotions
Advantageous:
-
Diploma or Degree in Retail, Sales, or a relevant qualification
-
Relevant experience in Retail
Job Specification:
Strategy Development:
-
Prepare and contribute to the creation of the strategic plan and departmental budget.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow the business.

Lead a nationwide sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and propose areas for improvement.

Establish sales objectives by forecasting annual sales targets for regions/territories, sales volume, and profit for existing and new products.
Sales Team Management:

Ensure that sales representatives adhere to company policies and standards.

Attend and facilitate regular training and development programs.

Ensure that sales representatives receive necessary training and provide relevant feedback.
Sales Targets:

Set sales targets for in-store sales consultants, tailored to specific regions and stores.

Monitor progress towards sales targets and intervene when necessary to improve performance.

Ensure that stock levels in stores align with set sales targets and business requirements.
Competencies:
Essential:

Expertise in retail, promotions, sales, stock management, and reporting

Ability to develop accurate sales forecasts, set realistic targets, and manage sales budgets

Proficient in utilizing CRM systems to manage customer interactions and track sales activities
