Dis-Chem Pharmacies (CJ Sales) is seeking a National Sales Manager to drive the growth of the Private Label business. The role involves researching, compiling, and presenting sales proposals to both new and existing clients. As the National Sales Manager, your creativity and extensive knowledge of sales processes will be essential in developing innovative strategies for business expansion and achieving sales targets.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:

Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate

5 years of management experience in Sales, Marketing, Brand, Category, or Promotions
Advantageous:

Diploma / Degree in Retail, Sales, or a relevant qualification

Relevant experience in Retail
Job Description:
Strategy Development:
-
Contribute to the development of the strategic plan and prepare departmental budgets.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.

Lead and manage the nationwide sales team to achieve sales targets.

Negotiate and close agreements with key customers.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, offering suggestions for improvements.

Set sales objectives by forecasting annual targets for regions, sales volume, and profit for both new and existing products.
Sales Team Management:

Ensure sales representatives adhere to group requirements and implement them effectively.

Attend regular training and development courses, ensuring team members do the same.

Monitor team training and ensure feedback is provided.
Sales Targets:

Set sales targets for in-store consultants, specific to regions and stores.

Track sales progress and intervene when necessary to improve performance and effectiveness.

Ensure stock levels in stores align with set sales targets and promotional goals.
Competencies:

Experience in retail, promotions, sales, stock management, and reporting

Ability to develop accurate sales forecasts and manage sales budgets effectively

Proficiency in CRM systems to manage customer interactions and sales activities
