Fidelity Vacancies – NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / SALES: GUARDING DIVISION

The New Business Development department is seeking to employ a New Business Development Representative within the Guarding Division. The primary purpose of this role is to identify new business opportunities through networking, develop and maintain strong client relationships, and grow an existing client base by offering comprehensive end-to-end risk mitigation solutions.

The role involves designing, costing, proposing, and presenting complex integrated security solutions to both new and existing clients, covering the full spectrum of offerings from the Commercial sector and the Group.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Sales diploma or equivalent qualifications

  • Proven sales experience with a successful track record

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales role

  • PSIRA Grading is an advantage

  • 2-4 years of sales experience in the security industry, preferably

  • Fully bilingual; additional languages are a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and for extended hours, as required

  • Previous experience in the security industry is highly advantageous

  • Full competence in the MS Office suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint

  • Must always be professional and well-presented

  • Clear criminal record and no pending cases

  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

  • Willingness to travel

Essential Duties & Key Performance Responsibilities (not fully inclusive):

  • Accountable for client growth and increasing turnover through both existing clients and new business

  • Meet revenue targets by achieving planned sales goals, with targets varying based on business needs

  • Secure profitable new business opportunities

  • Attend to potential clients in different regions of responsibility

  • Address and resolve client queries promptly and effectively

  • Conduct site surveys to assess security requirements

  • Design and cost comprehensive security solutions

  • Prepare and present detailed proposals

  • Ensure timely submission of quotations to clients

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients

  • Plan, budget, and coordinate the fulfillment of client requirements

  • Assist with marketing-related matters

  • Submit weekly and monthly management reports

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends and competitors

  • Ensure accurate completion of contracts and quotations, including any necessary technical addendums

  • Ensure all equipment sold adheres to company policies

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities, including extensive cold calling

  • Maintain strong client relationships and address any concerns promptly

  • Prepare detailed proposals following site surveys and ensure timely submission of quotations
