Fidelity Vacancies – Operations Manger (Area Manager Industry Equivilent)
Fidelity is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Area Manager Industry Equivalent) to manage a defined client cluster and lead operational teams in delivering high-quality security services. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for operational efficiency, client service, staff management, and ensuring full compliance with all security and contractual requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
-
PSIRA Grade A certification
-
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the security industry
-
At least 3 years in an operational security management role
-
Working knowledge of the Firearms Control Act and firearm competency
-
Proven experience managing staff and operations
-
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office
-
No criminal record or pending legal matters
-
Strong planning, reporting, interpersonal, and communication skills
-
Understanding of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management standards
Key Responsibilities:
-
Manage multiple sites within a client cluster to ensure contractual requirements are consistently met
-
Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and resolve issues promptly
-
Monitor site-level service delivery and continuously improve performance standards
-
Supervise and support Security Officers to ensure operational readiness and compliance
-
Handle HR and IR-related matters, including discipline, absenteeism, and employment processes
-
Ensure all administrative responsibilities and reporting duties are fulfilled on time
-
Submit weekly and monthly operational and incident reports
-
Oversee investigations and enforce compliance with company and industry regulations
-
Liaise with Regional Management on all relevant operational developments

Uphold ISO 9001:2008 standards across operational procedures
