Job Overview:
Parmalat, a proud member of the Lactalis Group, is seeking a Production Shift Controller to join our Fresh By Products department at our Port Elizabeth plant. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a leading dairy brand and play a key role in driving production excellence. The successful candidate will report directly to the Junior Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and motivate the production team to meet daily targets.

Ensure products meet the highest quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating process non-conformance.

Investigate root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.

Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Operate and uphold quality management systems.

Ensure full compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Apply and monitor adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) protocols.
Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Exposure to BPCS and the dairy industry will be advantageous.

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills.

Proven ability to work as part of a team.
