Clicks Group is looking for a highly skilled and driven Project Executive to lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of projects focused on Merchandise and Supply Chain Optimisation. This role demands a results-oriented professional with strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic oversight capabilities.
The Project Executive will define project requirements, develop detailed lifecycle plans, and ensure consistent application of project methodologies across the business. This includes managing risk, issues, dependencies, and decision-making processes to support smooth implementation.
Key responsibilities include evaluating and authorising change requests based on impact to time, quality, cost, and scope, while maintaining accountability for resource planning across all workstreams. The role requires close coordination of weekly activities, clear communication plans, and regular stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate will manage the overall project budget, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure the user acceptance testing sign-off process is completed before deployment. The Project Executive will also implement effective change and communication strategies across impacted areas, supporting the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
This role ensures project governance, oversight of deliverables, and quality control. Leadership responsibilities include team performance assessments and fostering collaboration across departments.
Key Knowledge Requirements:

Proven experience in budgeting, reporting, and cost control

Familiarity with retail merchandising and supply chain systems

Deep understanding of project management methodologies

Experience in business analysis and process documentation

Exposure to JDA systems (advantageous)

Staff scheduling and team management (preferred)

Experience in project delivery within retail environments is beneficial
Education and Qualifications:

A 3-year Degree or Diploma is essential

Formal project management training or certification is advantageous
