The QA Auditor will be responsible for conducting quality audits, investigations, and inspections in alignment with FlySafair’s Quality Assurance System. Key duties include:

Performing quality audits, investigations, and inspections as per the Quality Assurance System.

Identifying and documenting concerns or findings, providing necessary evidence to substantiate issues.
-
Ensuring the corrective action plan provided by the auditee is acceptable.
-
Verifying the implementation of solutions within specified timelines.
-
Maintaining the IQSMS Quality Module.
-
Liaising with SACAA and third-party auditors during audits and inspections.
-
Assisting with the review of process owners’ manuals.
-
Disseminating quality-related information to Operational Training and Maintenance personnel.
-
Assisting with the coordination of new route applications.
-
Attending relevant meetings, including Quality Assurance meetings.
-
Assisting with authorizing and issuing Company Authorisations for the Technical department.

Identifying gaps in departmental quality control processes and making recommendations.
-
Executing ad-hoc duties assigned by the Quality Manager.
-
Keeping updated with industry changes, regulations, and continuously developing skills to stay effective in the role.

Assisting and compiling weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on QA activities in the organisation.
Job Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent.
-
Quality Auditor and Lead Auditors Certification (including Root Cause Analysis Training) (Essential).

Degree/Diploma in Quality Management (Advantageous).
-
Safety Management Systems training (Advantageous).
-
5 years’ experience in Auditing and in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System in Aviation.

IOSA Auditor.
-
Technical experience in Aviation (Advantageous).
-
Experience working on a Safety Management System.
