Clicks Group Careers – Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

Clicks Group is looking for a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and assisting in the efficient operation of the dispensary, in line with legal and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and professional patient care

  • Maintain efficient stock control and accurate administration, including medicine repacking

  • Assist in day-to-day dispensary operations with a focus on compliance and accuracy

  • Perform accurate compounding of medication under supervision

  • Offer general health and wellness advice to customers

  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping and effective merchandise display

  • Support other operational requirements as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric with Mathematics (Essential)

  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant (Essential)

  • Compliance with SAPC and legal requirements for scope of practice

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of OTC and health aisle product ranges

  • Knowledge of pharmacy legal and ethical guidelines

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Integrity and ethical work practices

  • Proficiency in MS Office and business operating systems

  • Strong numerical and basic calculation skills
