Job Description:
The Regional Operations Manager at Fidelity ADT plays a crucial role in overseeing the Operations Department within the region. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality contractual services to customers while complying with legislation, company policies, and procedures. Additionally, the role is aimed at achieving budgeted financial targets and ensuring operational efficiency across the region.
As a key leadership position, the Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing strategies to achieve business results, managing teams, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a performance-driven culture within the organization.
Requirements:

Experience: At least 10 years of progressively responsible management experience, preferably within a similar industry. A proven track record of supervising and managing a team in high-demand environments is essential.

Qualifications: A relevant management degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience.

Specific Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy: Lead and guide a senior team of managers to create a customer-service-oriented organization. Align people with processes and energize teams to achieve business results.

Compliance Management: Ensure that all operations comply with company rules and statutory regulations, including Armed Response, Guarding, Fleet, and Training. Monitor and enforce compliance to minimize risks and manage reputational threats. Conduct regular region and branch assessments to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Armed Response Management: Collaborate with business partners to drive improvements in service delivery, cost efficiency, and operational performance. Focus on attrition analysis and the operationalization of service plans. Manage resource deployment, vehicle-related costs, direct labor costs, and overhead cost control.

Guarding Management: Implement continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery and cost management. Work closely with internal partners to maintain optimal wage-to-revenue ratios and ensure effective management of vehicle and labor-related costs. Drive targets to reduce complaints and improve customer satisfaction.

Fleet Management: In collaboration with the Regional Fleet Manager, oversee the efficient management of the fleet, including cost control, resource planning, fuel management, accident management, and effective fleet management processes.

Training Management: Ensure all operational employees are fully trained in accordance with legislative requirements and internal training standards. Partner with the Fidelity ADT Training department to enhance employees’ skill sets and equip them to meet customer demands.

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS): Lead the EHS function by conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and driving improvements in incident reduction. Review significant incidents and near-misses to formulate corrective actions and manage risks effectively.

General Responsibilities: Collaborate with the finance team to create the Operations department’s annual budget. Conduct regular financial reviews with business teams. Focus on customer service and operational execution, continuously engaging with customers to drive service improvements. Manage the performance of direct reports, provide coaching, and support succession planning.
