Job Overview

Affinity Life Limited is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (PHC) for the Delarey branch. The nurse will consult with Affinity Enterprise members to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while delivering high-quality primary healthcare in line with best clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient consultations, clinical assessments, and diagnosis

  • Determine and provide appropriate treatment based on patient evaluation

  • Refer cases to the Medical Consultant within SLA timelines

  • Advise patients on appropriate use of over-the-counter (OTC) medications

  • Educate patients on medication, including potential side effects

  • Provide clear healthcare information and guidance to members

  • Maintain accurate records of consultations, treatments, and activities

  • Address areas of improvement identified by the QA team

  • Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) activities

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma or Degree

  • Primary Health Care qualification

  • Registered with SANC / HPCSA

  • Valid dispensing license

  • Valid driver’s license

Essential Experience

  • Experience in clinical evaluation of patient signs and symptoms

  • Experience in prescribing and administering medication

  • Proven primary healthcare experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of primary healthcare practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional telephonic etiquette and active listening skills

  • Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills
