Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a Retail Area Manager based at our Port Elizabeth branch, overseeing the Operations Manager and multiple sites within the area and surrounding regions. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, ensuring all site-specific security requirements are met, and that client needs are consistently addressed with professionalism. The position requires effective communication between staff, management, and clients.

Key Performance Areas

  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled as outlined by the client

  • Maintain strong and positive relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and clients regarding the services provided

  • Oversee security staff to ensure they meet the required performance standards at all times

  • Handle all necessary administrative duties efficiently

  • Liaise daily with both branch and regional management on various operational matters

  • Submit weekly and monthly incident and operational reports as required

  • Enforce disciplinary actions and ensure standards are upheld

Skills, Experience, and Requirements

  • Matric certificate or equivalent qualification

  • PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Firearm competency across all firearm types

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

  • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license

  • Retail experience, including tasks such as blitz, locker checks, and shrinkage management
