Fidelity Vacancies – Revenue Clerk

Reporting to: Billing Manager

A vacancy exists for a Revenue Clerk at the Fidelity Regional Office in Cape Town, reporting to the Billing Manager. The overall purpose of the position is to ensure the accuracy and accountability of all revenue movements for the operational branches.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Minimum Matric Certificate and/or relevant post-Matric qualifications

  • SAP knowledge is an advantage

  • Sound knowledge of full-function debtors, credits, and reconciliation

  • Proficiency in MS Excel is essential

  • Accuracy and high methodical working methods are required

  • Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels

  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in the security environment is advantageous

  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans

  • Computer literacy is essential

  • Must have a structured and detail-oriented nature

Key Performance Areas (not entirely inclusive):

  • Receiving instructions via sales orders, memos, and emails to load and raise revenue for new and existing contracts

  • Processing amendments, increases, and terminations on contracts

  • Generating, printing, and distributing posting sheets for branches

  • Ensuring accurate and timely monthly invoicing and credits

  • Addressing and resolving queries related to completed posting sheets for the Payroll Department

  • Preparing weekly and month-end reports

  • Communicating regularly with branches to assist with any billing-related issues

  • Assisting the Revenue Supervisor as required

  • Own transport is essential
