Purpose of the Role
The Rotating Equipment Technician will support the maintenance and reliability of rotating equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. This role contributes to equipment integrity, continuous improvement, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Apply mechanical maintenance expertise to troubleshoot and repair turbomachinery systems.

Ensure compliance with QA/QC systems, procedures, and specifications.

Maintain and update documentation such as mechanical drawings, manuals, data sheets, and SAP asset registers.

Apply knowledge of NCR processes and the Management of Change (MOC) process.

Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.

Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to improve equipment performance.

Monitor, analyse, and improve turbomachinery Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).

Support and mentor Technicians in Training while contributing to overall team effectiveness.

Work independently with minimal supervision, including standby duties, overtime, and during shutdowns.

Continuously improve Work Management processes and maintenance practices.
Minimum Requirements

National Diploma or BTech/Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience
