Clover is seeking an experienced Sales Representative: Emerging Markets to join their team in East London. This role focuses on maximizing sales of Clover and Principal products in smaller outlets within the Mdantsane region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong business relationships.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4

  • National Diploma

  • Fluent in Business English

  • Code 10 motor vehicle license

Duties and Responsibilities:

Increase Sales Volumes in Stores:

  • Prepare route plans and follow scheduled call cycles

  • Complete all necessary sales administration

  • Build relationships with customers at store level

  • Address customer needs with appropriate solutions

  • Source and maintain new business to develop an active customer base

Provide Service to Customers Through Sales Processes:

  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations

  • Support customers with efficient sales procedures

  • Ensure constant stock availability

  • Minimize stock returns

  • Maintain proper product facings in stores

Monitor and Report on Sales Volumes and Pricing:

  • Record and report on sales per outlet and product category

  • Implement agreed-upon prices and monitor pricing strategies

  • Monitor and maintain fridge compliance across outlets

Optimize Basket of Principal Products:

  • Negotiate the optimization of product baskets

  • Introduce new products and principals to the market

  • Organize product launches and promotional activities
