Fidelity Vacancies – Security Manager
Position Overview:
Fidelity is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee security operations at a prominent retail site in Cape Town. Reporting to the Regional Manager and Operations Manager (Client), this leadership role is crucial for managing the on-site security team, ensuring compliance with business processes, and driving performance improvements within the Security division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire security team on-site.
- Ensure compliance with business processes and security protocols.
- Drive performance improvements within the Security division.
- Conduct risk identification and analysis.
- Prepare professional reports and conduct investigations.
- Manage CCTV monitoring and control room operations.
- Maintain effective communication with senior management and operational staff.
- Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve company objectives.
Compulsory Requirements:
- PSIRA Grade A registration (Compulsory)
- Minimum of 5 years Retail Security experience (Compulsory)
- At least 8 years of experience as a Site Security Manager (Compulsory)
- Matric Certificate (Compulsory)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Own reliable transport
- Experience in investigations and report writing
- No Criminal Record
- Reside in Cape Town
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Security Management or equivalent (Advantageous)
- SAPS and/or Military background (Advantageous)
- IT knowledge related to security systems (Advantageous)
- Experience in EOB (Electronic Operating Board)
- Knowledge of OHS&E (Occupational Health, Safety & Environment)
- Familiarity with the Criminal Procedure Act
- Background in Training and Development
