Flysafair is recruiting a skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to support its data-driven decision-making processes. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical capabilities in business intelligence, data modeling, and analytical reporting, who can transform complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain data governance and security standards

• Extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources

• Build and manage Qlik data models and develop advanced reports in QlikView/Qlik Sense

• Identify trends, patterns, and business insights through deep data analysis

• Lead and manage end-to-end data analysis projects, from scoping to final delivery

• Optimise BI processes and identify areas for improvement

• Maintain the BI environment and ensure data accuracy and integrity

• Create complex queries for large datasets and conduct data cleansing and mining

• Develop strategies to enhance data quality and statistical efficiency

• Document analytical solutions and reporting structures

• Provide training and support to managers on using data reports and dashboards effectively

• Mentor junior analysts and promote data literacy across departments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and tailor data solutions

• Present insights in a clear, concise format that supports strategic business decisions

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• BCom in Information Technology (essential)

• Relevant BI certification (essential)

• At least 6 years of experience in business intelligence

• Strong experience with QlikView or Qlik Sense (essential)

• NPrinting experience is advantageous

• Previous experience in the aviation industry is an advantage
