Fidelity is seeking a Senior Fire Fighter to join our team. This role involves responding to fire-related incidents and ensuring the safety of life and property. The Senior Fire Fighter will be responsible for various firefighting and emergency services, including fire prevention, training, operating firefighting equipment, and providing basic medical care as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• IFSAC Accredited

• NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 certification

• Firefighter II Certification

• At least 5-6 years of relevant firefighting experience

• Valid Code C1 driver’s license with PrDP

• Advanced driving experience is advantageous

• Medically and physically fit

• Strong understanding of fire prevention procedures

• Clear criminal record

• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer liaison skills

• Hazmat experience and knowledge

• First Aid Levels 1 to 3

• BAC/AEC certification with HPCSA registration is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and manage fire incidents

• Provide emergency rescue services and basic medical care

• Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and apparatus

• Participate in fire prevention activities and provide related training

• Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed

• Provide administration support as required

• Liaise with clients and provide updates on incident management
