Job Purpose
The Stock Admin Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for maintaining stock integrity, optimising inventory processes, and ensuring full compliance with company SOPs, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete oversight of inventory by monitoring stock levels across the entire store

Ensure accurate recording of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and transfers

Prevent stock shortages and overstocking through effective forecasting and planning

Utilise inventory management systems to track, analyse, and report on stock data

Implement and maintain robust stock control processes and systems
-
Supervise, support, train, and performance-manage stock control staff
-
Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

Apply strategies to improve stock control efficiency and reduce losses
-
Ensure correct pricing principles are consistently applied throughout the store

Optimise storeroom layout and workflows for effective space utilisation

Collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to support operational objectives

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and related operational issues

Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, legal, and regulatory standards
-
Maintain accurate documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance
-
Prepare regular reports on stock performance, KPIs, and variances
-
Lead and manage three full stocktakes annually, investigating variances and maintaining an accurate stock file
-
Perform additional inventory and stock-related duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements
Education
-
Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
-
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management (Advantageous)

QPB (Qualified Post-Basic) (Essential)
Experience
-
5–8 years’ experience in stock or inventory management, preferably within pharmaceutical or FMCG environments

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role
Knowledge

Healthcare product knowledge

Store-based stock distribution processes

Dormant and slow-moving stock control

Strong computer literacy with advanced Excel skills
