Clover Vacancies – Stock Control Manager – Port Elizabeth

Clover Gqeberha is seeking an experienced Stock Control Manager to oversee stock transactions and ensure the daily balancing of stock. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong experience in stock management and the ability to work effectively with senior management.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4

  • Fluent in Business English

  • Experience in working with senior management

  • Advanced computer literacy

  • Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes

  • Code 08 Driver’s license

  • Willingness to travel off-site and stay overnight if required

Duties and Responsibilities:

Stock Management:

  • Report daily stock losses to management

  • Monitor and verify all stock-related transactions

  • Report and finalize warehouse in-transit items, returns, and physical stock

  • Manage stock in line with RH instructions

  • Oversee year-end stock counts, final balancing, and roll-forward processes

Crate and Pallet Management:

  • Ensure accurate CHEP documentation and pallet counts are captured

  • Report on directs and monitor crate count reconciliations

  • Ensure proper capturing of all stock-related transactions in systems

Administrative Functions:

  • Complete delegated administrative tasks

  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports

  • Contribute to the compilation of the budget

Team Management:

  • Oversee the performance of team members

  • Plan and manage team leave schedules

  • Handle disciplinary matters and manage team development

  • Coordinate training and development initiatives for subordinates

  • Ensure competency in team appointments

Technology and Database Management:

  • Compile and maintain a technology knowledge database

  • Coordinate specialist input and include relevant details in the database

  • Publish technical bulletins as required
