Tekkie Town, a division of Pepkor Speciality, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead the team at our Cradlestone Mall branch. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be based in Krugersdorp or surrounding areas and will be responsible for ensuring the store’s profitability, managing operations, and leading a high-performing team.

The successful candidate will manage turnover and budgets, control expenses, reduce stock losses, and ensure that store operations align with company standards. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for retail, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

At least 2 years of experience in a retail management role

Fluent in English and at least one other official South African language

Own transport and a valid driver’s license is advantageous

Drive sales to meet and exceed store targets and budgets

Ensure accurate and efficient store administration

Maintain stock loss below benchmark levels

Monitor and maintain stock flow and unpacking processes

Coach, mentor, and develop team members

Enforce adherence to company policies and operational procedures

Manage opening and closing of the store

Participate in assessments and evaluations if required
