Mr Price is looking for a skilled Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our store at Tower Mall in Klerksdorp. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive store performance, deliver excellent customer service, and implement company initiatives while managing a high-performing team.

You will be responsible for achieving store targets, managing stock and expenses, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations while maintaining high standards in all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management
Ensure accurate receiving, unpacking, and merchandising of stock. Monitor stock levels to minimize loss and maintain availability. Manage the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards and oversee write-offs, returns, and recalls.

Sales Growth and Profitability
Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve performance. Monitor in-store product performance and collaborate with management to identify growth opportunities. Support the rollout of promotions and brand initiatives to drive turnover.

Risk Management
Conduct regular compliance checks to enforce adherence to policies and procedures. Take proactive steps to minimize risk in store operations.

Customer Experience
Implement and maintain all customer service initiatives and visual standards. Manage markdowns, repricing, and promotions, while ensuring the store environment meets cleanliness and presentation expectations.

Leadership and Development
Lead and motivate your team to achieve store KPIs in alignment with company values. Identify training needs, drive development and succession planning, and manage recruitment and performance in line with policies.

Innovation
Implement new initiatives from Head Office that enhance customer experience and streamline store processes.

Requirements

• Grade 12

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a retail store management role

• Solid understanding of sales, service, and operations management

• Proficient in MS Office

• Strong budgeting and analytical skills

• Effective communicator with knowledge of retail trade, brand standards, and customer expectations
