Miladys is looking for an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to lead the Burgersfort team. The ideal candidate is confident, disciplined, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves overseeing all aspects of store operations, from stock management to team leadership, ensuring that sales targets are achieved and company standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management

  • Ensure accurate receiving and unpacking of stock to replenish the sales floor efficiently.

  • Maintain optimal stock levels through regular counts, stock takes, and action plans to reduce stock loss.

  • Manage the upkeep of the stockroom and authorize necessary write-offs, breakages, returns, and recalls.

Sales and Profitability

  • Analyze store sales and profitability reports, identifying opportunities to improve performance.

  • Provide regular feedback on product performance to head office and suggest strategies to grow sales.

  • Implement in-store marketing and initiatives to drive traffic, sales, and brand awareness.

Risk and Compliance

  • Conduct regular compliance checks including audits, health and safety checks, and administrative processes.

  • Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures across all store functions.

Customer Experience

  • Maintain high customer service standards by implementing and managing customer experience plans.

  • Monitor execution of visual merchandising, promotions, markdowns, and general housekeeping.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead the store team to meet performance targets and align with company values.

  • Drive staff development through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Support succession planning and talent development within the store.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail store management role.

  • Strong understanding of sales, service, and retail operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Solid knowledge of retail trade, customer expectations, and brand positioning.
