Mr Price is looking for an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead the Miladys store at Vangate Mall. This role is responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring store performance targets are met, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Management

Ensure stock is accurately received, unpacked, and merchandised to maintain optimal sales floor availability.

Monitor stock levels and implement stock control processes, including stock counts and loss prevention action plans.

Maintain a clean and organised stockroom that meets housekeeping standards.

Approve and process write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.
Sales Growth and Profitability

Analyse store sales and profitability reports and collaborate with senior management to implement action plans.

Monitor product performance and provide feedback to enhance in-store offerings and drive sales.

Identify and act on local opportunities to grow sales and promote the brand, including in-store marketing and community events.

Drive the achievement of new account and membership targets where applicable.
Risk Management

Ensure store compliance with operational standards through regular audits and checks across areas such as admin, visual presentation, POS, health and safety, and security.
Customer Experience Management

Implement and uphold customer service processes including markdowns, pricing adjustments, promotions, and visual merchandising.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across all areas of the store.

Gather and act on customer feedback to improve shopping experience.
Leadership and Development

Lead, support, and motivate the store team to meet business KPIs and uphold company values.

Identify training needs, promote internal growth, and ensure effective succession planning.

Handle recruitment, onboarding, and performance management in line with company policy.
Qualifications and Requirements

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a store management role.

Strong background in sales and service management.

Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of retail operations, customer engagement, and product performance.
