Mr Price Vacancies – Store Manager Mr Price Cellular

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of a Mr Price Cellular store. In this role, you will ensure that store targets, innovation initiatives, and customer service standards are met and exceeded. Your leadership will be key in driving performance and creating an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

Stock Management:

  • Ensure accurate receipt, unpacking, and merchandising of stock to replenish the store.

  • Monitor and manage stock levels through defined processes (stock counts, stock takes, stock loss action plans, etc.) to minimize risks and ensure adequate stock levels.

  • Oversee stockroom maintenance and housekeeping standards.

  • Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, out-of-box failures (OBF), cellular repairs, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability:

  • Analyze sales and profitability reports in-store and collaborate with management on action plans to enhance sales performance and control store expenditure.

  • Monitor product performance and provide feedback to the support center to drive sales.

  • Identify new opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness, including in-store marketing and competitor analysis.

  • Drive the performance of credit, insurance, mobile, and cellular products to meet the agreed budget.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct compliance checks through various processes (admin checks, store audits, visual audits, POS reports, health & safety standards, weekly hanger counts, security, etc.) to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Customer Experience Management:

  • Ensure the implementation of customer experience processes, including business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, visual standards, and customer feedback to meet service standards.

Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy in alignment with company values.

  • Identify and address training, coaching, and development needs with a focus on talent management and succession planning.

  • Manage recruitment, performance, and administration according to company policies.

Innovation:

  • Implement innovation initiatives from Head Office (Mpos, MRP Empower, E-docs, and Money Hub) to improve in-store processes and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.

  • 3 years of experience in a store management position.

  • Sales and service management experience, along with skills in budgeting, computer literacy, and communication.

  • Knowledge of retail trade, brand management, customer service, cellular products, mobile, new accounts, and insurance products.
