Pepkor is looking for a results-driven and customer-focused Store Manager for its NQUTU PLAZA 0005 branch. The main purpose of this role is to lead the store to achieve optimal turnover and profitability through effective merchandise presentation, superior customer service, and strong team leadership.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of daily operations, ensuring that the store delivers a customer-friendly, efficient, and productive environment. This includes motivating staff, maintaining stock control, and executing visual merchandising in line with company standards.

Minimum qualification required is Grade 12 with Mathematics. Previous store management experience is essential. Candidates must possess strong customer service orientation, proven leadership skills, and the ability to develop and manage teams. Other key competencies include planning, organizing, and controlling tasks effectively, as well as computer literacy and a working knowledge of budgets.

Key responsibilities include achieving sales and profit targets through efficient resource management, protecting company assets including stock, cash, and staff, and setting performance targets for team members. The Store Manager will ensure accurate administrative processes related to stockrooms, markdowns, and lay-byes, and oversee merchandise replenishment and housekeeping to maintain store standards.

This role also includes people management responsibilities such as recruiting, developing, and guiding team members to deliver exceptional service and contribute to a productive and positive working environment.
