Mr Price Vacancies – Store Manager Sheet Street Bridge

Mr Price is seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead the Sheet Street Bridge location. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the store to ensure that store targets, customer service standards, and overall objectives are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
Stock Management

  • Ensure stock is accurately received, unpacked, merchandised, and replenished on the sales floor.

  • Monitor and manage stock levels through processes such as stock counts, stock takes, and stock loss action plans to mitigate risks and ensure adequate stock availability.

  • Oversee the maintenance of the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards.

  • Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns as required.

Sales Growth & Profitability

  • Analyse sales and profitability reports to collaborate with management on operational action plans, improve sales performance, and monitor store expenditure.

  • Regularly review in-store product performance and provide feedback to the support center to enhance sales.

  • Identify opportunities to boost sales and brand awareness through in-store marketing, competitor analysis, and participation in local events.

  • Drive new accounts and memberships in line with set targets (if applicable).

Risk Management

  • Conduct compliance checks using processes such as admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO reports, POS reports, and health & safety standards to ensure full adherence to policies and procedures.

Customer Experience Management

  • Implement and maintain customer experience processes, including markdowns, repricing, promotions, and visual standards, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Manage customer feedback and general housekeeping to ensure customer service standards are consistently met.

Leadership & Development

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve KPIs and align with company values.

  • Identify training, coaching, and development needs to support talent management and succession planning.

  • Oversee recruitment and manage staff performance in line with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12.

  • 3 years of experience in Store or Assistant Store Management, preferably in a similar retail environment.

  • Experience in sales and service management.

  • Strong budgeting and MS Office proficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • In-depth understanding of retail trade, brand management, and customer needs.
