Mr Price is looking for an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to lead our Sheet Street store at Vaal Walk in Vanderbijlpark. This role requires a strong leader who can manage all aspects of store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with company standards.
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that store targets are achieved and exceeded, all while leading a motivated and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
Ensure accurate receiving and unpacking of stock, and maintain proper merchandising and replenishment on the sales floor. Monitor stock levels through regular counts and implement stock loss control processes. Oversee the maintenance and organization of the stockroom, and authorize write-offs, returns, and breakages.
Sales Growth and Profitability
Analyze sales and profitability reports and collaborate with the management team to drive improvements. Stay updated on product performance, provide feedback to head office, and identify new opportunities to increase sales and customer engagement through local marketing and in-store initiatives.
Risk Management
Conduct compliance and operational checks to enforce adherence to company policies and procedures. This includes administrative audits, visual standards, health and safety, POS reports, and other store-level controls.
Customer Experience
Ensure consistent implementation of customer experience strategies through markdowns, promotions, visual merchandising, pricing accuracy, and feedback processes. Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness to enhance the shopping experience.
Leadership and Team Development
Lead the store team to achieve key performance indicators, align with business strategies, and uphold company values. Identify and address training needs, drive coaching and succession planning, and manage recruitment and performance in line with HR policies.
Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12
-
Minimum of 3 years in a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role in a similar retail environment

Strong background in sales, service, and operations management

Budgeting and financial management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Solid understanding of retail trade, customer behavior, and brand positioning
