The purpose of this position is to ensure the adherence to site-specific security requirements while effectively and professionally meeting the client’s needs. As a Tactical Officer, you will be part of a specialized unit that services clients in the East Rand area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric

• Grade A PSIRA accreditation and registration with Response

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the security industry

• No criminal record; willing to undergo regular criminal checks

• Physically fit and in good health – not afraid of heights

• Computer literacy is an advantage

• Estate/retail experience required

• Reside within traveling distance to the Heidelberg site

• Valid Code 10 driver’s license (obtained more than 2 years ago)

• Firearm competency for handgun, shotgun, and rifle for business purposes

• Reside in the East Rand area

Job Specification:

• Report writing and safeguarding

• Patrolling and entrance/exit control

• Completing relevant registers as per protocol

• Responding to alarms and incidents

• Following standard procedures as per training

• Demonstrating good communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions accurately
