Job Description:
This position is available at our Klerksdorp Branch. The overall purpose of the role is to assist the Operations Manager in the Cash in Transit (CIT) division, ensuring that CIT operations are conducted in line with planned procedures and schedules.
Minimum Requirements:

Clear criminal record
-
PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification
-
Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate
-
Firearm competency – with a minimum handgun (for business purposes) qualification
-
Computer literate (compulsory)
-
At least 3 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role (advantageous at FSG)
-
CIT management or supervisory experience is advantageous
-
Valid driver’s license is advantageous
-
Own transport is advantageous
-
Ability to work under pressure
-
Willingness to work irregular hours
-
Clear disciplinary record
Key Performance Areas:
-
Take full responsibility and accountability for the vehicle, including reporting mechanical faults, refuelling, operating security systems, and ensuring cleanliness

Assist with daily operational requirements
-
Ensure security and manage the movement of CIT schedules during transit
-
Drive the CIT vehicle when necessary (if applicable)
-
Prevent and report accidents
-
Maintain communication with controllers
-
Conduct security drills and maintain security awareness
-
Take preventative actions against any reported suspicious activities
-
Liaise with clients and staff, specifically management
-
Complete documentation and administrative duties (e.g., daily rosters and reports)
-
Report all delays to the Operations Manager immediately

Manage risk and ensure compliance
