Fidelity Services Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Coordinator to manage administrative tasks and provide operational support within the technical department. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless scheduling, documentation, and coordination between clients, technicians, and internal teams.
Overall Purpose of the Role
The Technical Coordinator is responsible for managing all administrative and logistical functions related to technical operations, ensuring that service delivery is effective and efficiently scheduled.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent
-
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Experience with Listener is advantageous
Key Responsibilities
-
Collect and review quotes for the allocated area
-
Ensure all quotes are accurately logged on Listener
-
Assign quotes to technicians and schedule jobs based on technician availability and location
-
Contact clients to confirm appointments and provide technical booking updates
-
Support the sales team in booking technicians for installations and services
-
Manage aged job voiding and provide pipeline figures for installations
-
Send job cards and assist with technical reporting (e.g., BNS, insurance reports)

Allocate and distribute installation documentation to the Technical Manager for technician assignments

Track and follow up on the Top 20, Low Battery, and Overactive system lists
-
Provide timely resolution of scheduling queries and escalate issues when necessary

Assist with the loading of radios, technical testing, and EHS compliance

Provide technical assistance to clients as needed

Ensure prompt scheduling follow-up for all pending jobs

Support departmental continuity during staff absences

Assist with stock ordering, issuing, control, warehouse management, and inventory checks

Distribute service and installation stock to technicians

Support technical invoicing processes
