We are seeking a dedicated and organized Technical Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth and effective completion of all administrative tasks related to technical operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 or equivalent

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience

Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office

Experience with Listener software is advantageous
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Collect and manage quotes for the allocated area.
-
Verify that quotes are correctly entered into Listener.
-
Assign quotes to technicians and prioritize calls to optimize travel time.
-
Schedule jobs efficiently based on technician capacity and geographic location (including servicing and installations).

Contact clients to schedule appointments and confirm times (including telephone technical bookings and control room bookings).

Assist the sales team with technician bookings.
-
Void aged jobs and provide pipeline figures for installations.

Assist the Johannesburg office with sending job cards.

Generate BNS and insurance reports.

Schedule installations for Cape Town sales.

Ensure all documents from OTC are handed to the Technical Manager for allocation to technicians, including invoice statistics.

Follow up on the Top 20, Low Battery, and Overactive lists.

Resolve scheduling queries promptly and escalate complications as necessary.

Assist technicians with the loading of radios and performing tests.

Provide EHS assistance and technical support to clients.

Follow up on all jobs and ensure they are scheduled the same day.

Support the department by stepping in to assist in the absence of team members.

Manage the ordering, issuing, and control of stock, and assist with stock take.

Assist with technical invoicing.

Distribute service and installation stock to technicians.
