Fidelity is looking for a skilled Technical Mechanic to join our Durban office. The main responsibility of this role is to perform electrical work on security and risk-related items, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• At least 5 years of experience in technical or maintenance work

• Experience with Bulugaya System is advantageous

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of various vehicle types and systems

• Familiarity with cameras, biometrics, and electric fences

• Valid driver’s license

• Diesel mechanic experience

• Knowledge of CIT vehicle systems

• Own transport is an advantage

• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required

• Auto electrician experience

Job Specification:

• Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot vehicle security systems

• Inspect and replace wiring in vehicle systems

• Perform general maintenance on OTC vehicles, including fixing faulty locks and handling vehicle breakdowns

• Compile detailed paperwork for each vehicle serviced

• Replace broken keypads and perform general maintenance tasks

• Repair air-conditioning systems
