Job Description:
The position of Technical Mechanic is currently vacant at our Durban Office. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle electrical work related to security and risk management systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record

• Strong communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• At least 5 years of experience in technical or maintenance work

• Experience with the Bulugaya System is a plus

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of various types of vehicles

• Familiarity with cameras, biometrics, and electric fences

• Valid driver’s license

• Diesel mechanic experience

• Understanding of vehicle systems, specifically for CIT vehicles

• Own transport is an advantage

• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary

• Experience as an Auto Electrician

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose electrical issues and manage vehicle security systems

• Inspect and replace wiring in vehicle systems as needed

• Perform general maintenance on OTC vehicles, including replacing faulty OTC locks and attending to breakdowns

• Complete necessary documentation for each vehicle

• Replace broken keypads

• Conduct general maintenance tasks, including air conditioning repairs
