About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS). You will ensure its smooth operation while maximizing its potential to support our training objectives. Additionally, you will compile and submit essential statutory and non-statutory reports, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness and ROI of our training programs. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise with strategic thinking to drive employee development.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Degree/Diploma (e.g., Human Resources Management).

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Learning and Development (L&D) and working with an LMS.

  • Proven experience in the setup, maintenance, and management of a Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Experience in compiling and submitting WSP/ATR reports to the W&R SETA system.

  • Ability to compile and submit BBB-EE reports accurately.

  • Strong capability to work with large data sets and analyze them accurately.

  • Proven ability to analyze data and produce reports that demonstrate the ROI of Training and Development (T&D) programs.

  • Knowledge and experience with W&R SETA or any SETA.

  • Familiarity with BBB-EE requirements for Skills Development.

  • Experience in project management with a demonstrated ability to structure, manage, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, and/or Looker Studio is an advantage.

  • Strong research skills and the ability to find innovative ways to maximize the LMS potential.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to approach problems creatively and collaborate effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and effectively.

  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts at all levels.

  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience in the retail sector is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all technical aspects of the LMS, including user enrolment, course management, and reporting.

  • Capture and track all training initiatives in the T&D database, ensuring that deadlines are met.

  • Compile and submit all T&D reports, including WSP/ATR and BBB-EE reports.

  • Develop metrics to improve reporting capabilities and demonstrate the ROI of training interventions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest LMS and authoring tool trends to fully optimize the LMS.

  • Manage external service providers to deliver e-learning programs and content, ensuring adherence to SLAs and timelines.
