Clicks Group Careers – Visual Merchandiser

Clicks Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Visual Merchandiser to support the effective execution of category strategies across its retail network. This role is responsible for creating planograms that align with the business’s operating plans, ensuring that products are merchandised in a way that supports sales performance, shelf sustainability, and compliance with display standards.

The Visual Merchandiser will translate AO outputs into clear merchandising guides that store teams can implement. A key focus of this role is to manage the visual ranging of products within each category and maintain store clustering to support macro space adjustments. Ensuring the correct visual representation of products in line with commercial agreements is essential, with an emphasis on optimal facings and shelf presence.

Additional responsibilities include providing input to assortment analysts to guide category decisions, updating MDQs and facings in MMS systems using min-max rules, and ensuring all planograms are approved and uploaded on time, in line with the category range review schedule.

Required Knowledge:

Knowledge of current IT tools and merchandising display software

Understanding of visual merchandising principles and category planning

Familiarity with Category Operating Plans

Key Skills:

Proficiency in space planning software

Strong data analysis and interpretation skills

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

High attention to detail

Ability to manage time effectively and perform under pressure

Experience Required:

3–4 years of experience using a space planning application

3–4 years of experience in a merchandise department

3–4 years of retail industry experience

Educational Requirements:

Relevant degree or diploma is essential
