About the Role:
The Backend Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services to support Fragomen’s web applications. You will work with a .NET backend that integrates with MS Dynamics 365 while collaborating with the lead developer to refactor the solution into a cloud-native application. This role involves close collaboration with developers, designers, and business stakeholders globally to define problems and architect solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend solutions based on requirements and architectural roadmap.
- Maintain and enhance a .NET API.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors to improve reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other applications.
About the Team:
The Fragomen Global Development Lab (GDL) is an innovation-focused team dedicated to creating technology solutions for global mobility, business travel, and cross-border employment compliance.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Remote agile development environment.
- Proficiency in .NET REST API development (AOT familiarity preferred).
- Strong understanding of FAST principles and unit testing best practices.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with AWS cloud-native development, including Lambdas and Serverless Framework.
