Purpose of the Job
The Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator supports daily operational efficiency by monitoring vehicle activity, managing incidents and faults, and ensuring accurate reporting and communication. The role focuses on procedural compliance, professional conduct, and maintaining high health, safety, and housekeeping standards while ensuring vehicle-related issues are addressed promptly to minimise downtime and support service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Monitoring and Incident Management

Monitor vehicle movements and activity in line with company procedures

Identify, record, and report deviations, alarms, and operational exceptions timeously
-
Ensure all system alarms are acknowledged and resolved within required timeframes
-
Respond to incidents and accidents professionally and in accordance with company protocols
Communication and Reporting

Request and receive daily route sheets from the relevant business units
-
Accurately capture and record operational and vehicle performance information
-
Compile and distribute operational and monitoring reports within agreed timelines
-
Log and report all occurrences and unusual events accurately and comprehensively
Fault Management and Vehicle Repairs

Update and maintain daily records of vehicle faults in the relevant systems

Communicate faults clearly to responsible departments or service providers

Follow up on reported faults to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and effectively
Operational Support

Provide support with operational tasks and functions as required
-
Maintain professional conduct when engaging with staff, customers, and external stakeholders

Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards in line with SOPs
Housekeeping, Health and Safety

Maintain a clean, organised, and orderly work environment at all times

Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote safe working practices
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
