What will you do?
- Grow Sanlam Retail Mass’s customer base and revenue by developing and executing the retail branch strategy.
- Guide and standardize Sales Consultants’ activities to align with business goals.
- Foster a service-driven culture within the branch to enhance client experiences.
- Oversee daily branch operations and drive strategic business planning.
- Ensure sales targets are met and maintain compliance, quality, and risk management standards.
- Manage HR functions for direct reports, including performance, talent development, and workplace policies.
- Report monthly on sales and service performance.
- Engage key stakeholders, including Area Managers, Business Owners, and community forums, to strengthen relationships.
Education and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 certifications.
- 120 Wealth Management credits or an FSCA-recognized tertiary qualification.
- Class of Business accreditation (annual).
- Compliance with CPD requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with 3 years in leadership.
- Service Management experience.
- Insurance sales and credit/lending experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Sales strategies and stakeholder management.
- Customer service excellence.
- Regulatory frameworks and Sanlam product knowledge (advantageous).
- People management and business acumen.
- Proficiency in data analytics, project management, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
