Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator – Value Logistics
Purpose of the Role
The Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting daily operational efficiency by monitoring vehicle activity, managing incidents and faults, and ensuring accurate communication and reporting. The role requires strict adherence to procedures, professional conduct, and Health and Safety standards to minimise downtime and support uninterrupted service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Monitoring & Incident Management

Monitor vehicle movements and activity in line with company procedures

Identify, record, and report all deviations, alarms, and exceptions promptly

Ensure all alerts are acknowledged and addressed within required timeframes

Respond to incidents and accidents professionally, in accordance with company protocols
Communication & Reporting

Obtain daily route sheets from the relevant business units

Accurately capture and record all operational and vehicle performance information
-
Compile and distribute operational reports timeously to relevant stakeholders

Log and report all occurrences, incidents, and unusual events accurately
Fault Management & Vehicle Repairs

Update and maintain daily records of vehicle faults
-
Communicate faults to the appropriate departments or responsible personnel

Follow up proactively to ensure vehicle repairs are completed effectively and without delay
Operational Support & Professional Conduct

Provide operational assistance as required to support business continuity

Maintain professional conduct when engaging with colleagues, customers, and external parties

Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards as per Standard Operating Procedures
Housekeeping, Health & Safety

Maintain a clean, organised, and orderly work environment at all times

Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote safe working practices
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
