Job Overview
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a seasoned Branch Manager to lead operations at the Upington branch. The role involves overseeing day-to-day branch operations, ensuring all security officers are deployed per contractual agreements, and maintaining high standards of client service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all branch functions, including Operations, Finance, Transport, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, ISO compliance, Client Portfolios, Contracts, and SLAs

Supervise Operations Managers, Site Managers, and Supervisors to ensure timely resolution of client matters

Apply managerial functions—planning, organizing, leading, and controlling—to staff management
-
Attend internal and client meetings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required
-
Conduct quarterly performance appraisals and facilitate staff training, development, and succession planning
-
Assist in annual budget preparation and monitor adherence across all managers
-
Maintain control over assets, fleet, and firearms
-
Oversee duty rosters, staff training, and operational compliance
-
Ensure proper processes for procurement, repairs, and quotations

Guarantee operations comply with quality management standards

Submit monthly and quarterly reports to management
-
Conduct risk assessments on client premises and prepare investigation reports

Ensure contractual obligations are consistently met

Maintain strong client relationships and recommend service improvements
-
Monitor staff performance and maintain high operational standards
-
Handle all administrative matters and liaise on operational issues daily
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric Certificate and PSIRA Grade A registration
-
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the security industry
-
Senior management experience overseeing a large security workforce
-
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management standards

Strong people management, administration, and client liaison skills

Financial management and budgeting experience

Fleet management experience
-
Assertive, goal-driven, self-motivated, with a passion for the business

Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
-
Clear criminal record and firearm competency

Proven track record of operational excellence
