Job Overview
FlySafair Careers is seeking a professional and service-oriented Receptionist to manage front-desk operations and provide administrative support. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, ensuring efficient communication, and supporting access control and corporate services in line with company and aviation security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Visitor Management

Welcome and assist all visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner

Operate the switchboard by receiving, screening, and directing calls to the appropriate departments

Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area that reflects FlySafair’s brand and service standards
Access Control & Permit Administration
-
Create and issue access permits in line with FlySafair and ACSA security procedures

Manage the full ACSA permit application and renewal process for employees and contractors
-
Issue crew cards to new and existing employees
-
Monitor permit expiry dates and ensure timely reprints and distribution across all bases

Liaise with ACSA offices and internal departments to coordinate documentation, appointments, and approvals

Provide front-desk support and respond to access permit-related queries

Maintain and update the access permit database, ensuring accurate personnel details, photographs, access levels, and expiry dates
Logistics, Administration & Support

Coordinate outgoing deliveries and courier collections to support effective communication flow

Monitor and update the company vehicle logbook in line with usage policies

Administer scheduling of company car wash services

Provide general administrative support to the HR and Corporate Services team as required
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 or equivalent
-
1–2 years’ experience in a reception, front-office, helpdesk, or administrative support role
Experience & Knowledge
-
Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or a related field is advantageous

Experience in an aviation, corporate, or customer-service environment is advantageous
-
Exposure to switchboard operations, visitor management systems, or access control processes is advantageous
