IT Project Administrator – Cashbuild Vacancies
Job Purpose
The IT Project Administrator is responsible for coordinating IT project activities, managing schedules, tracking progress, and providing administrative support to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Requirements

NQF Level 4 qualification with 3–5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role

Project management experience or qualification advantageous

Working knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Experience in recording and reporting actual vs budget expenditure
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
-
Set project timeframes, durations, dependencies, and resource allocations according to time, budget, quality, and scope constraints

Coordinate project activities in line with the project plan
-
Monitor project progress and flag potential issues
-
Take ownership of assigned project tasks from the Project Manager
-
Support project risk analysis and mitigation efforts
Project Office Administration
-
Prepare and maintain project documentation in the prescribed Cashbuild format for internal teams and stakeholders
-
Retrieve required information such as user requirements and case studies
-
Create and maintain organized filing systems in line with Cashbuild procedures
-
Manage phone and email enquiries, referring appropriately
-
Schedule meetings, distribute agendas, record minutes, and track decisions and assigned actions

Order necessary resources such as equipment and software
-
Perform other administrative duties as required
Quality Assurance

Coordinate quality checks to ensure deliverables meet requirements
Reporting and Performance Monitoring

Measure and report on project performance

Maintain risk registers and compile lessons learned for each project
Governance

Ensure project team members adhere to Cashbuild project management processes
Budget Management

Record project expenses and prepare financial reports and forecasts
Customer Service

Ensure all project work reflects Cashbuild quality and accuracy standards

Serve as the primary point of contact for project participants
