Role Purpose
The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial information in line with statutory accounting standards. This role provides critical financial support to the business, ensuring compliance, strong controls, and insightful financial reporting to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and complete preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports in accordance with statutory and best-practice accounting standards.

Plan, prioritise, coordinate, and delegate effectively across functional teams to meet reporting deadlines and stakeholder requirements.

Proactively identify, assess, and resolve financial risks, discrepancies, and historical accounting issues.

Embed and maintain robust financial controls and authority matrices across business processes to ensure compliance.

Stay up to date with evolving accounting, taxation, and legislative requirements, including IFRS, Companies Act, and governance frameworks.

Oversee financial transactions and reconciliations across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory cycles within defined ageing and quality standards.

Monitor and control business assets, including pre- and post-evaluation of capital expenditure.

Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements, tax audits, and quality assurance standards.

Perform analytical reviews, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support financial targets and business objectives.

Lead, manage, and develop finance team members, driving performance, capability growth, and talent development.
