Pharmacist Assistant – Clicks Group Careers

Job Purpose
Provide high-quality support in the pharmacy by ensuring excellent customer service, efficient dispensary operations, accurate stock management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and health advice to all customers.

• Maintain efficient stock control, including repacking of medicines and accurate inventory management.

• Support dispensary administration to ensure smooth and compliant operations.

• Assist with accurate compounding of medicines as required.

• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation within the pharmacy.

• Perform ad hoc operational duties as needed to support the pharmacy team.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric with Maths (essential).

• Compliance with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) requirements for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of health products and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.

• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Team player with integrity and ethical working practices.

• Accuracy, attention to detail, and basic calculation skills.

• Proficiency in IT business operating systems and MS Office.
