Job Overview
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking experienced Operations Managers to oversee security operations and ensure that all site-specific requirements are met in accordance with client service level agreements. The Operations Manager is responsible for effective deployment of Security Officers, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring client needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- PSIRA Grade A or B registered and accredited, up to date
- Clear criminal record with no pending cases
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in a site supervisory or management role
- Proven staff management experience
- Computer literate
- Physically fit and in good health
- Reside within the greater Johannesburg area or willing to relocate at own cost
Key Performance Areas
Operations & Client Management
- Maintain strong professional relationships between Fidelity Security Services and clients
- Provide daily feedback and liaise consistently with management and clients regarding service delivery
- Continuously evaluate service levels and recommend improvements to enhance security operations
Reporting & Investigations
- Compile, distribute, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Prepare and submit all incident, accident, and investigation reports
- Obtain and manage statements related to investigations
Staff Deployment & Compliance
- Ensure timeous posting of Security Officers to achieve full site coverage on day and night shifts in line with SLAs
- Verify that all Security Officers meet contractual and client-specific requirements
- Manage staff discipline and represent the company at CCMA or Labour Court proceedings when required
Risk Management & Auditing
- Conduct continuous assessments of client premises to identify and minimize security risks
- Implement effective access control measures to deter criminal activity
- Audit and verify access registers daily and generate exception reports

- Proven experience in investigation techniques and report writing
- Willingness to work extended or flexible hours when required
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
