Position Overview
The Contracts Manager will serve as the central point for all security-related matters within the CID, overseeing the day-to-day operations of complex security solutions while ensuring effective management of personnel, resources, and client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Matric
• PSIRA Registered Grade A
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Firearm Competency
• Computer literate
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operational staff including on-the-road training, shift planning, equipment, vehicle maintenance, and oversight of expenses and overtime
• Oversee vehicle operations: checks, equipment, stock management, services, fines, accident management, and tracking
• Attend internal and external meetings as required
• Compile and submit reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as required by the CID
• Monitor construction sites, conduct street light audits, and manage other CID-specific requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (sales, technical) and external stakeholders (SAPS, law enforcement, community forums)
• Identify crime trends and coordinate security operations accordingly
• Conduct joint operations with SAPS and law enforcement on CID matters
• Attend to crime incidents, complaints, and security-related inquiries
• Support management and reporting for the Monitoring Centre hub within the CID
• Facilitate communication and reporting between CID members and FADT management
