Main Job Purpose
The Site Coordinator is a key member of the Project Management Team, responsible for overseeing the MSM and TG HIV Prevention Project. This role includes coordinating and managing all project activities, ensuring objectives such as reducing HIV transmission and increasing community awareness are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Role Deliverables
Project Coordination
- Lead and support Peer Educators and outreach teams
- Coordinate outreach activities, HIV testing, counselling, and trainings
- Support psychosocial teams with sensitization and outreach efforts
- Assist clinicians with case management and stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate OST client recruitment and strategic planning
- Conduct supervision meetings and compile reports
- Distribute harm reduction kits and maintain stock records
- Recruit OST clients and submit related reports
- Conduct client risk assessments and manage harm reduction pack distribution
- Organize district clean-ups, small group discussions, and ensure female client services are implemented
- Drive teams to outreach sites and ensure positive clients are navigated to care
- Support capacity-building activities and workshops at HIV prevention implementing sites to enhance programme implementation and data collection
Project Administration
- Maintain quality control and assurance of project tools
- Keep service records and submit to M&E teams
- Support the M&E Manager with monitoring, evaluation, and technical assistance to implementing sites
- Monitor Peer Educator performance and attendance
- Administer HR policies and ensure compliance
- Manage project vehicles and office logistics
- Ensure PPE availability and proper disposal of medical waste
- Submit inventory and sign-in registers regularly
Organisational Responsibilities
- Audit HTS registers and manage the adherence buddy programme
- Attend meetings and represent the organisation professionally
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Familiarise with relevant Anova policies
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or Social Sciences
- Knowledge of DoH HIV/TB/HCT policies
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HIV/TB programme coordination
- Experience working with key populations
- Strong communication, reporting, and computer skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
