Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Hybrid Sales Consultant to drive sales of security solutions, including armed monitoring, armed response agreements, alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, and electric fences. The role focuses on generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and sell armed monitoring and armed response agreements to new clients
  • Promote and sell alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and other security solutions
  • Generate and close self-sourced deals
  • Follow up on leads received internally or via telesales
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure timely reporting on sales activities (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Maintain all administrative duties related to sales

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric or equivalent
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in capital goods sales (not FMCG)
  • Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS and DSC alarm systems is advantageous
  • PSIRA Grade C registration is advantageous

Job Requirements & Attributes

  • Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to achieve targets
  • Excellent selling, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet usage
  • Presentable, professional, and of sober habits
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Aptitude for electronic and technical equipment

Performance Standards

  • Achieve monthly sales targets for both new customers and hardware
  • Maintain high standards in client relationships
  • Ensure all leads and quotes are followed up promptly
